Can somebody tell me where the PAUSE button is?!

Time is moving too fast. Wah!

This is my almost 5-month-old, Benjamin David.

(Better known as ‘Benji’ or ‘Ben-Ben’ or ‘Benji-Boo’ or… most often… as ‘Bear’ at our home)

I’m (hopefully) on the upswing from a nasty cold/ cough that so many of us are catching this time of year. You would think with it being sunny and 64°F outside that we Arizonans would not deal with the common cold, croup, etc. But we do.

When I’m sick the kids get to watch a bit more TV than they usually do on a day-to-day basis. While they watched their show, I watched them. Both in person and on my computer screen. They can be playing right in front of me but I still love scrolling through photos of them and watching videos of their antics. They make me smile.

Today the picture above of my baby boy and the pictures below of my girlies caught my eye. Where has the time gone? They are 3, 2, and 5 months old. Sometimes I look across the table at my hubby and give him a look. It says, “How in the world did we get here?” It really does seem like we just got married and were living the child-free life. Now we have three stinkers in the house. Sometimes I wonder, “Where did they come from?” Oh yes. Now I remember.

I can’t imagine life without them.

Sure I have my hard days. My super hard days. My days where I just want to curl up in a ball and cry.

But I wouldn’t trade one day with my babies for anything.

Today I’m wishing there was a PAUSE button.

Does anyone know where that is?

love, jenna
