A romantic holiday deserves a romantic dinner.
For this Valentine’s Day post I teamed up with my blogging friend Destiny from A Place for Us. She has more interior decorating talent in her baby finger than I do in my entire being. She styled the elegant table and designed the lovely menus. Her photographs turned out so beautiful! I want her to come and decorate every room of my house. And style my tables for every occasion. And take pictures of all my meals. She is AMAZING.
A couple of weeks ago we teamed up to create this romantic, dazzling table of decadent, melt-in-your-mouth food. You can click HERE to see the rest of the table styling by Destiny. She will inspire you!
My part in this ‘Romantic Dinner for Two’ was planning the menu and making the food!
I went for a ‘Surf & Turf’ theme because it’s fancy and it’s not something you eat on just any weeknight. If you don’t like beef you can make more shrimp. If you don’t like shrimp, you can make more beef. Most of the recipes can be made ahead so you don’t have to be stressed out the night of the dinner!
Here are the links to each of the recipes on the menu:
Thyme-Chive Butter (served with your choice of sliced bread or rolls).
Blush Bubbly (to drink!)
If you’re like me, you need a TIMELINE to keep you on track and organized for making your meal. Hope it helps!
