Easter Brunch for Kids

Children's Easter Brunch

I have been BURSTING at the seams to share this fabulous Easter Brunch with you!! It says “for Kids” and “Easter” in the title… but it really could work for any brunch throughout the year and would be great for kids and grown-ups alike!

If you are lacking inspiration for this year’s Easter or Spring brunch… LOOK NO FURTHER!

THE STYLING Destiny from Just Destiny Mag did a fabulous job styling this al fresco brunch for kiddos. She has an eye for the loveliest details.  All the special touches she added really made this brunch extraordinary. I can’t stop going to her website for inspiration and ideas! Your kiddos are going to love it! YOU are going to love it! She also did the photography for this Brunch shoot. You can see the rest of the inspiring photos HERE.

THE OUTFITS Devin & Tara from Salt & Pepper Moms styled all the kids’ outfits. They were casual but refined at the same time. The kids had no problem playing in their outfits but they were special enough for the occasion. I cannot get over how adorable and sweet the girls were, and how sophisticated the boys looked. You can get more styling ideas and LOTS MORE from these moms of FOUR and FIVE kids! How do they do it?! I’m busy enough with three running around! AH! Check out their website ASAP!!

THE FOOD Well, that’s me! I will be posting step-by-step pictures for EACH of this recipes in the days to come. For now, here are the recipes and some pictures to get you started! If you want all the recipes in one place, scroll to the bottom of this post! You’ll also find the giveaway for a gorgeous cake stand at the end of the post, as well!

Mini Pancake Stacks with Mango & Mixed Berry Toppings

I’m going to admit something right here and now… the mini pancakes used below… frozen. Thawed them. Warmed them. Stacked them. Basically I had about 30 curveballs thrown at me on the day I did all this cooking and I had to take some emergency shortcuts. If you’re a mom you know what I’m talking about, right? HOWEVER… I assure you… the recipe does make pancakes just this size. They are MUCH fluffier and tastier than the frozen kind. But let’s be honest. Some days are just frozen pancake days. Am I right? Why else would they have been in my freezer when I needed them for this occasion. haha!

Mini Ham & Cheese Frittatas with Candied Bacon

The candied bacon on top of these little beauties is so decadent. I love the flavor combination when you bite into these. Sweet and savory flavors hit your palate at the same time and it’s the PERFECT bite!

Blackberry Yogurt Parfaits

These are not too sweet so they don’t feel like a dessert! You can substitute granola for the graham crackers to make it even less dessert-like and more sophisticated for adults eaters!

Mini Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls with Blackberry Glaze

These are a wonderful relief to make compared to regular, homemade cinnamon rolls. Store-bought puff pastry dough makes them super simple and stress-free! Oh, an if you’re wondering about the recipe for the mini blueberry muffins… there is no recipe. They are store-bought! I simply dolloped a bit of the blackberry glaze from the Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls over the top of each of them to give them a special touch! DELICIOUS & EASY! Who doesn’t like that?

Berry Bunny Yogurt Bites

These are the easiest thing to make on the menu! You let the shells defrost. You fill them with yogurt. You garnish them with blueberries and a bunny graham and you’re D.O.N.E. Woo-hoo!

Bloomin’ Doughnut Hole Pops

These flower pots are pretty much the cutest thing ever! I love how playful they are and I think kids and adults alike will appreciate their tastiness and how whimsical they are. The pops are like little flowers growing out of the ground! If you can’t find wheatgrass you can use floral foam. Place the foam in your container(s) and cover it with mini marshmallows.

Mini Rice Krispies Treat Nests

These could not be easier to make. I’ll share a step-by-step soon!

Pastel Mini Cupcakes with Bunny Ears

These I have tweaked even since we had the shoot. I found the perfect “recipe” for pastel mini cupcakes. I used a boxed cake mix! The thing that makes these special is the pastel colors that I finally nailed down after lots… and I mean LOTS of experimenting. Plus the bunny ears are just too darn cute! No shortage of mini cupcakes at my house lately! {or my neighbors’ houses for that matter}

Hassle-free. As cute as can be. {hey… that rhymes!} You are going to LOVE these!!

Here are your recipes all in one spot:

  1. Normally, My favorite thing about spring would have to be the energy and life that it brings after a long dead winter… but it is different in AZ… the winter was so beautiful… so I don’t really know. 🙂 I guess the colors. By the way, your blog post is beautiful. Makes me want to have an outside Easter brunch!

    • Thank you Jen! Yes… I’m actually kind of dreading “winter” being gone here in AZ. I like the Springtime but AZ gets confused and skips right to Summer. It’s already too warm for March! haha 🙂

  2. I love making Easter baskets, decorating and making Easter desserts…..It’s not stressful like Christmas….just easy and fun.
